Cancellation of the subscription

The subscription is associated with your Apple ID and is therefore cancelled there.

  1. On your iPhone, open Settings.
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  3. Choose Soul and tap Cancel Subscription.

Apple's guide is available at: Cancel a subscription from Apple.

Deleting your Soul account does not cancel the subscription.

Refund request

Apple processes the payments, so a refund is requested from Apple.

The request is submitted at reportaproblem.apple.com (instructions). If something did not work correctly, please inform us as well: we want to resolve it.

If the purchase was made less than 14 days ago, you may also exercise your right of withdrawal through Apple without giving a reason (terms, section 7).

Restoring Soul Pro on another iPhone

Sign in with the same Apple ID, open the Soul Pro screen and tap Restore.

Export and deletion of your data

  • Export: Profile › Settings › Export my data. This option is free of charge, with or without Soul Pro.
  • Delete your account: Profile › Settings › Delete my account. Your account and your data are deleted from the server and then from the iPhone. If you have no account, the same row is called Delete the data on this iPhone.
  • Signing out does not delete your data from the iPhone: it remains there and stops syncing. Only your recent searches are cleared.

The remaining information is set out in the privacy policy.

Statistics and crash reports

Soul sends crash reports and usage statistics to our error-reporting provider, in the European Union. They do not include your account or any of the data you record.

You can disable both in Profile › Settings › Privacy: Send crash reports and Share usage statistics.

The data they include and the purpose of sending them are set out in the privacy policy.

Reporting an incident

An incident is reported from the app: Profile › Help › Report a problem, or from the "…" menu during a workout.

If you open it from a screen, a capture of that screen is attached. You can remove it or replace it with another before sending. If you wish to receive a reply, provide your email address.

The message is sent to our error-reporting provider, in the European Union. Check the screenshot before sending, as we will receive everything it shows.

Reporting illegal content

If you identify content in Soul that you believe to be illegal, for example a @username, report it to support@soulmovement.app.

Please state:

  • the reasons why you believe it is illegal;
  • its location;
  • your name and email address;
  • a statement, made in good faith, that the information provided is accurate and complete.

A person reviews each report. Our moderation procedure is set out in the terms, section 11.

Reporting vulnerabilities

If you believe you have identified a vulnerability in Soul or soulmovement.app, report it to security@soulmovement.app. The reporting procedure and the handling we give to each report are set out in our security policy.

We build Soul to use it ourselves, every day. If something does not work as you expected or you miss something, tell us: that is how it gets better.
